About Rani Art

Rani Art  is a performing arts company founded by artistic director, choreographer and allround performing artist ,Rasarani Keilman.

Rani Art aims to produce 'total theatre' pieces , with dance as dominating artform, connecting and fusing all forms of theatrical disciplines and in colloboration with diverse artists.

All of the work is further more connected by a concept or subject that is inspired by spiritual, historical or psychological theories and doesn't shy away from social taboo's or (current) issues .

To bridge the gap between audience and artist, the work contains a slight narrative visual or audible approach.

Rani Art challenges the artists to be completely inspired by the concept and their own artistic and unique talent and vision so they are able  to inspire, inform or move the audience. Colloboration in a friendly, loving and also fun way is the approach of Rani Art. Letting the art speak for it self and the artist free to experiment with a strong given concept or theme, is what makes it all come together!

The peacock feather in Rani Art's logo is a symbol of integrity and the beauty we can achieve when we endeavor to show our true colors. The all seeing eye of the peacock feather stands for the  'eye of the beholder' as art is always has its's personal preference. Most importantly the Peacock reminds us sometimes that it's totally okay to flaunt our stuff and show off our skills. This is particularly true in situations when we want to gain attention for our  or others betterment. The  Peacock energy can remind us we are amazing, and we should fan out our assets to inspire others and land the opportunities we are seeking in life.
